
Mahindra Vision S arrives as the 'mini Scorpio', a compact SUV positioned between the XUV 3XO and Scorpio N, featuring NU_IQ and engines like the 1.2L TGDi, 1.5L Diesel, plus future hybrids.
Overview
Mahindra is preparing the Vision S, the compact SUV that many are already calling the mini Scorpio. The model, expected to launch in early 2027, will sit between the XUV 3XO and the Scorpio N and will utilize the new NU_IQ platform.
Design and Presence
With a boxy shape and an upright silhouette, the Vision S brings the robust DNA of the Scorpio in a package suitable for urban use. Highlights include L-shaped daytime running lights and the vertical grille featuring the Twin-Peaks logo.
The SUV boasts good ground clearance, prominent wheel arches, and a spare wheel on the tailgate, reinforcing an aggressive appearance compared to more urban crossovers.

NU_IQ Platform

Powertrain
The Vision S is expected to use high-performance engines from the XUV 3XO:
- 1.2 L TGDi petrol — 130 hp
- 1.5 L Diesel — 117 hp and 300 Nm
- Possible hybrid and electric version in the future
