Executive Summary

The Bozhi 7 marks the second foray by the GAC Toyota joint venture, bringing together the HarmonyOS ecosystem with cutting-edge hardware, including LiDAR and a two-compartment air suspension. The goal is to deliver luxury, advanced technology, and performance in a price range starting at 147,800 yuan and going up to 199,800 yuan.

Configurations and Pricing

The Bozhi 7 line is divided between two range tiers: 600 km and 700 km, with five distinct configurations to meet different user profiles, while maintaining premium features as standard across the line.

  • 600 Pro — 147,800 yuan. This entry-level version is not "without luxury": it comes with over 15 features, including HarmonyOS Cockpit 5 with MoLA architecture, L2 assisted driving with automatic parking, Huawei Smart Drive, and a NearLink key. Interior in real wood, heating and ventilation for the front seats, and 20-inch wheels.
  • 600 Pro LiDAR — 161,800 yuan. Configuration with full-scene autonomous driving functions, low delivery latency, and OTA updates for the R7 learning model. The LiDAR solution raises the bar for autonomous driving from day one of delivery, keeping this price in the high-end entry range.
  • 700 km range — 700 Max — 165,800 yuan. Three trims already include over 11 comfort items (added): massaging seats and driver leg support, rear sensor panel, and an audio system with 23 speakers. The package with bi-directional dual-chamber air suspension costs 5,000 yuan, making the 700Max the only electric sedan in the 170,000 yuan range with this hardware.
  • 700 Max LiDAR with dual-chamber suspension — final price at 180,000 yuan. Combines HarmonyOS Cockpit 5, Momenta's LiDAR driving, and the dual-chamber suspension with the installation upgrade, concluding with the main package.
  • 710 Ultra LiDAR — 199,800 yuan. The top-of-the-line version adds a 27-inch panoramic display, Nappa leather steering wheel and seats, as well as an intelligent fragrance system.

In summary, the Bozhi 7 seeks to solve the common dilemma in the EV market under 200,000 yuan: range, autonomous driving, and luxury, offering a configuration that seeks to balance these attributes without exceeding the price ceiling.

Technological Innovation and Warranties

In practice, the car is marked by the integration between Toyota's hardware, Huawei's software, and Momenta's driving software. The strategy is not just to combine supplier solutions: it is to create an ecosystem with manufacturing care, chassis tuning, and safety validation in a closed loop, called by the company
HarmonyOS cockpit, Momenta driving, plus Toyota tuning.

Services, Warranties, and Durability

During the pre-sale period, GAC Toyota addressed several questions regarding battery sources, degradation, and system integration. Regarding the battery, the company did not disclose the supplier but highlighted an procurement model focused on safety standards. Integrated engineering over the past two years aims to establish more than 300 safety standards and 26 critical processes for the Bozhi 7, including a wing-shaped top cover, high-temperature insulation between cells, and ceramic strips capable of withstanding 1,000°C.
The degradation warranty stipulates free replacement of the original battery if capacity drops below set limits: 10% at 2 years/50,000 km, 20% at 6 years/100,000 km, or 25% at 8 years/150,000 km, under conditions specified by the manufacturer.

For the dual-compartment air suspension, the Bozhi 7 uses an intelligent preview system that adjusts height and damping at high frequency to anticipate road conditions. Durability tests include 9 million cycles and 200,000 equivalent suspension tests. The vehicle also comes with an extended suspension warranty: the standard period of 5 years/150,000 km increases to 10 years/300,000 km with the additional coverage.

Market, Delivery, and Expectation

The pricing strategy and system integration position the Bozhi 7 as a bet to gain traction in a competitive segment, where the entry cost fluctuated between high-level features and driving range. Deliveries have already begun at GAC Toyota network dealerships, with market performance dependent on proven reliability and user experience over time.

Final Contribution of the Partnership

This launch reaffirms the JV's vision 2.0 between GAC and Toyota: combining manufacturing, chassis calibration, and safety validation with cutting-edge technology from Huawei and Momenta to offer a smart cockpit, advanced autonomous driving, and luxury suspension at a competitive price.
