Musso EV arrives in the UK with BYD technology

KGM Motors UK has unveiled the Musso EV, its first 100% electric pickup truck for the British market. The model features an 80.6 kWh LFP BYD battery, supplied by BYD, offering a WLTP range of 240 miles.

The powertrain, driven by two electric motors, delivers 152.2 kW (207 PS) of power and 339 Nm of torque, with permanent all-wheel drive. Towing capacity is 2.3 tonnes, and the payload reaches 690 kg.

300 kW fast charging allows going from 20 to 80% in approximately 31 minutes. Furthermore, the Musso EV offers Vehicle to Load (V2L) capability to power external devices from the vehicle.

The price is £42,495 including VAT, already incorporating the £2,500 PiVG. For the 2026/27 fiscal year, the BIK tax rate is 4%, and the monthly charge starts at £30, potentially the lowest among pickups available in the UK.

Orders with test drives begin in May 2026 at participating dealerships.
