The importance of tires

Tires influence efficiency, performance, and the driving experience. For electric vehicles, every mile of range depends on the right choices. Michelin presents new lines focused on greater efficiency and performance for EVs.

Primacy 5 Energy

Michelin's Primacy 5 Energy features an A rating in wet braking and promises to reduce braking distance by 8% compared to its predecessor, both new and worn down to 2 mm.

The line's energy is reinforced by Energy Passive 2.0 technology, which uses functional elastomers, a new architecture, and resins for greater durability. Independent tests indicate a lifespan up to 40% longer than many competitors.

In addition, there are efficiency gains: up to 6% fuel savings and up to 10% more range for EVs.

Pilot Sport Energy 5

Michelin's Pilot Sport line receives the Energy 5 to combine sportiness and efficiency. Designed with the brand's racing experience, it brings together Dynamic Response Technology and Adaptive Grip Compound to improve grip in wet and dry conditions.

To reduce friction, it uses the Energy Passive compound, decreasing rolling resistance and increasing efficiency. Max Touch technology helps maintain performance for longer by distributing wear more evenly.
