Porsche unveils the Cayenne S Electric, an intermediary between the Cayenne Electric and Turbo, with 536 hp (657 with launch control) and fast charging up to 400 kW.
Balanced performance between Cayenne Electric and Turbo
Porsche has expanded its electric SUV line by presenting the Cayenne S Electric, an intermediary option between the base Cayenne Electric and the high-performance Turbo.
The Cayenne S Electric delivers 536 horsepower under normal conditions, rising to 657 hp when launch control is activated. The setup is powered by two electric motors with all-wheel drive, maintaining the family's sporty DNA.
Performance set:
- 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds
- Top speed of 155 mph
The high-voltage battery, 113 kWh (gross), supports charging up to 400 kW. On a fast-charging station, it is possible to go from 10% to 80% in approximately 16 minutes.
Estimated range: Porsche has not yet released official figures, but it is estimated that the Cayenne S Electric can travel around 320 miles on a single charge.
Design and interior
Its appearance follows the Cayenne line with exclusive details, including Volcano Grey Metallic accents on the front and rear areas, as well as 20-inch Cayenne S Aero wheels. The interior features the Interior Style package with a two-tone black and Delgada Green finish, lending a distinct touch.
Price and availability
The Cayenne S Electric is already available for order, with a starting price of US$ 128,000. This price is about US$ 17,000 above the base Cayenne Electric and approximately US$ 37,000 below the Turbo. Deliveries are expected to begin later this year.
