Skoda has revealed additional details about its next electric flagship, the Peaq, a 7-seater SUV that expands the brand's space and technology offerings. The model positions itself as the largest and most spacious in the Czech manufacturer's history, with high-performance versions and impressive range.

Technical Specifications

  • Length close to 4.9 meters and height of 1.7 meters, with a wheelbase of 2965 mm.
  • Powertrain kits: 60, 90, and 90x, with power outputs between 150 kW and 220 kW.
  • Range exceeding 600 km for the 90 and 90x versions.
  • DC charging time (10–80%): about 27 minutes for the 60 version and 28 minutes for the 90 line.

Exterior Design and Trim Choices

  • Front featuring the new TechDeck Face design, a glossy black panel with vertical windows and LED lighting.
  • Matrix LED headlights with 18 segments for better visibility without dazzling other drivers.
  • Paint options in 10 shades and aerodynamic wheels ranging from 19 to 21 inches.

  • Panoramic roof with dynamic glare control across nine segments, featuring electrochromic technology.
  • Relax Package offers AGR-certified massage seats and premium audio developed with Sonos.

Practical Features and 'Simply Clever' Technology

  • Windscreen wipers with integrated washers for efficient cleaning.
  • Dual Phonebox with wireless charging up to 25W.
  • Electric blind for the cargo area, retractable table, display cleaner, and ticket holder for daily convenience.
  • USB socket integrated into the interior mirror and another in the third row of seats.

Launch and Availability

  • The top-of-the-line Sportline version starts sales, featuring high-gloss black exterior details, 20-inch wheels, and an interior with dark tones and sports seats.
  • The three-spoke steering wheel includes hands-free detection and regenerative braking paddles.
  • According to the manufacturer, the Peaq will launch in mid-2026 in Europe and global markets, with no confirmation of arrival in New Zealand.

The Peaq is scheduled to arrive in European and global markets in mid-2026, but there is no confirmation yet regarding its presence in New Zealand.
