BYD expands Denza with the Z9 GT
BYD increases its international commitment by presenting the Denza Z9 GT, an electric station wagon that marks Denza's entry into more markets with a new flagship model.
Eye-catching Range and Battery
The Z9 GT comes with a 122.5 kWh battery, offering a CLTC range estimate of 1000 km.
Using the stricter WLTP standard, the range is close to 850 km, representing a 64% increase in estimated range.
Competition in the West and Market Strategy
The model is expected to position itself as a more accessible option among electric station wagons in the West, competing with the BMW i5 Touring, the Audi A6 Avant, and the VW ID.7.
When will the new Denza arrive?
BYD had originally planned to launch more models internationally, including the Denza, but this rollout was postponed. Now, Denza is expected to arrive in more markets, although the exact date has not yet been announced.
Note: range estimates depend on driving conditions; WLTP tends to reflect approximately 850 km for this model.
