The Musso EV, the 100% electric pickup from KGM Motors (formerly SsangYong), debuts in the UK as the brand's first 100% electric pickup in the British market. The model seeks to combine heavy-duty utility with EV efficiency, without sacrificing comfort.
Work and daily use
With over five decades of tradition in pickups, the Musso EV delivers work robustness with SUV finishing inside. Towing capacity of up to 2.3 t and a payload of 690 kg, in addition to a reinforced bed that supports up to 150 kg, increasing versatility for daily tasks and outdoor activities.

- 80.6 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery supplied by BYD, with cell-to-pack technology.
- WLTP range of up to 240 miles.
- Fast charging from 20–80% in just 31 minutes with a 300 kW DC charger.
- Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function to power tools, equipment, or leisure items directly from the vehicle.
- Three levels of energy recuperation, adjustable via steering wheel paddles, optimizing efficiency according to the terrain.

- Two electric motors with 207 PS and 339 Nm of total torque.
- Permanent all-wheel drive system that distributes torque according to grip requirements.
- Suspension with automatic leveling and robust chassis to improve load capacity and towing.
Modern design and interior
Exterior with a striking grille, LED lighting, and muscular arches, while the interior merges the cabin and cargo area with a modern and rugged look.
The cockpit is dominated by a panoramic dual-screen configuration: 12.3 inches for the instrument panel and 12.3 inches for infotainment, running Athena 2.0.
Comfort is not left out: heated and ventilated front seats, 8-way electric adjustment with lumbar support, and heated rear seats, offering ample space and reclining function.
Safety and driver assistance
- Body structure with 78% high-strength steel and eight airbags.
- Assistance controls: Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Detection, and 3D Around-View monitoring.
Availability and price
The first customer deliveries in the UK begin in May 2026. The starting price is £42,495 (with VAT), already including the £2,500 Plug-in Van Grant.
