Leeds launches 'cross-pavement' EV charging technology for residents without driveways

Leeds City Council launches pavement EV charging technology for residents without off-street parking, in partnership with Kerbo Charge and Deborah Meaden.

New charging solution for those without off-street parking

Leeds City Council has announced a partnership to offer at-home charging options for residents without access to off-street parking. The agreement involves the British startup Kerbo Charge, supported by investor Deborah Meaden.

The EV charging technology, called cross-pavement, installed on the pavement, facilitates residential charging for those who do not have a dedicated parking space.

The initiative unites public power with private sector innovation to expand access to electric mobility in Leeds.
